Getting the Most Out of Your Camera: Back Button Focus – Free Quick Guide

Virtually every modern camera has this incredible feature that many photographers never use.

It’s called the ‘Back Button Focus.’

This nugget of gold first appeared on a Canon camera all the way back in 1989.

However, until recent years, it was relatively obscure and a rarely used camera feature.

Here’s the deal. Setting up your camera to focus from the back button lets you fire the camera’s shutter independent of the autofocusing mechanism.

If you photograph anything that moves… this feature can be a game-changer.

Jenn Mishra wrote this guide. If you’ve been following Photzy for the last year or so, you know that Jenn’s guides are some of the best on the planet.

In this eBook, she will discuss…

  • What back button focus is
  • Reasons to use back button focus
  • Setting up your camera for back button continuous autofocus
