If you’re like just about every other photographer that I know, you probably get excited about the prospect of shooting photographs along the beach at the ocean.
It’s a favorite subject. That’s for sure.
Kent DuFault has written us an excellent (and extensive) eBook on how to infuse drama into your coastal photography.
It’s interesting. At one point in the eBook, he compares photography to a television show.
He asks, “If you have a favorite show, and it told the same story over and over every week, would you lose interest in it?” Of course you would. He then makes the comparison to photographs. If your coastal photography says the same thing over and over, why should anybody be interested?
